Solution Architect (m/w/d)
Your tasks:
Analysis of functional and technical requirements and derivation of suitable solution architectures
- Creation of architecture concepts, technical designs, and standards
- Advising internal stakeholders on technologies, architecture principles, and best practices
- Evaluation and selection of suitable technologies, platforms, and system components
- Ensuring the technical quality, scalability, security, and maintainability of the solution
- Supporting the entire software life cycle – from planning and implementation to operation
- Coordinating and liaising with development teams, project managers, and external partners
- Conducting architecture reviews and risk analyses
- Documenting architecture decisions and relevant technical artifacts
- Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and project plans
Your qualifications:
Degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in software development or system architecture
- In-depth knowledge of modern IT architectures (e.g., cloud, microservices, API design, integration)
- Understanding of common technologies and frameworks depending on the area of application
- Experience with architecture methods and standards (e.g., TOGAF, UML, C4 model)
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an understandable way
- Structured, analytical mindset and high quality awareness
- Fluent German and English skills
- Willingness to travel approx. 50% of the time
